Tapping on Trauma after Manchester Bombing

The news about the bombing of the Ariana Grande concert in Manchester England earlier this week has brought up feelings of sadness, anger, and helplessness in me, even though I live half a world away. Tapping, or EFT, is an effective way to move through the emotions evoked by traumatic events and come to a place of peace and compassion. That peace and compassion is then offered to the world and the field of consciousness that connects all of us. Our individual responses contribute in a very tangible way to promoting greater peace in the world or it's opposite. Studies of the effect of meditation on lowering crime rates is one demonstration of this (see Gregg Braden, and this study published in the Journal of Health and Environmental Research)

Here is my response to the attack earlier this week. I share it here as an offering to anyone else who is feeling traumatized, sad, and helpless. These are times for us to reach out and help each other as best we can.
